Diploma in Thai Yoga Massage
Thai massage is an ancient healing art. It was initially considered a spiritual practice, a meditative application of loving kindness.
Thai massage is based on a concept of invisible energy lines (the ten ‘sen’) that run throughout the body. Important energy points are located along these lines.
Thumb, palm, elbow, knee and foot pressure, combined with gentle yoga-based stretches, are used by the masseur to stimulate and balance the energy flow and release blockages, leading to increased vitality and well being.
Our diploma course is a training which includes structure and technique, enabling the students to gain a boundaried pathway to learning and developing intuition.
You will spend 16 days learning and practising different techniques and styles to create a two-hour Traditional Thai Yoga Massage tailor-made to suit the individual. Attention will also be given to helping the therapists care for themselves as well as for their clients. We are passionate about ensuring that therapists learn the correct structural support to enhance and maintain their own wellbeing at all times.
